Not too hot, thankfully, and barely humid (again, thankfully). I need to be reading books to get ready for yoga teacher training this week. I can hardly believe it’s already time for it! This is going to be a busy 2 weeks for me. We start really early in the morning, and it’s a full days events of reading, practice, journaling, assisting, snacking, etc. It will do my body good too. I have been a slacker lately, not stretching or strengthening. I suppose this is just a phase of life, you know, it ebbs and flows. I’ve only lived in Ohio for one full year, I got a new job just 2 months ago, so I’m just now getting into a groove of life. I’ve been feeling a little out of sorts lately, no groove, so that probably explains the lack of motivation (as you can tell by not too many posts from me).
As I’m getting older, I’m also deciding what is/is not important to me. What I want to spend my time on, what activities are important to me, what people are important to me and what just isn’t working in my life anymore. I’m streamlining and minimalizing but sometimes it’s a challenge trying to keep myself motivated. I know I can do it, but sometimes it would be nice to have my own personal cheerleader, know what I mean?
The puppies keep me busy so I don’t sit too much and the garden is growing by leaps and bounds and looks so amazing!
So much to be thankful and grateful for, and I know these slow times will pass.
For now, we rest.
